- Warm gentle machine wash in wash bag with similar colours
- Pull into shape after washing, before tumble drying/line drying
- Tumble dry on low
- Any warm or extra warm garments – tumble dry inside out on second cycle for quicker drying

What is a Snug Shrug?
It is a soft, sleeved layer worn over a sleeveless sleep bag or suit. When your baby moves out of a swaddle and their arms come free, the Snug Shrug is what keeps those arms warm on cooler nights, without moving up to a heavier bag.
Does the Snug Shrug go over or under a sleep bag?
Over. The Snug Shrug is designed to be a final layer that sits over a sleeveless sleep bag or Transition Bag (wings off) to offer versatility and warmth.
Does the Snug Shrug have a TOG rating?
No. It is a layering garment rather than a sleep bag, so it does not carry a TOG of its own and parents and caregivers are encouraged to use their discretion when layering.
What size Snug Shrug do I need?
It is sized by age and height: 3–6 months (up to 68 cm), 6–12 months (up to 76 cm) and 12–18 months (up to 84 cm). It will not always match the exact size on their sleep bag as sleep bags are sized by weight. If they are between two sizes, go up.
My baby's sleepsuit doesn't have fold-over mittens any more. What can I use?
Most sleepsuits drop the fold-over mittens after around six months. The Snug Shrug has them built into the sleeve, so there is nothing separate to pull off or lose.
Can my baby wear a Snug Shrug with a Swaddle Up™?
No. The Swaddle Up™ already has wings covering the arms, and nothing should be layered over a swaddle. The Snug Shrug is for the next stage, once your baby is sleeping with their arms out of a swaddle.
